Early this morning the National Hurricane Center upgraded Tropical Depression 2 to Tropical Storm Ana. Officially, it's the first named tropical storm of the 2009 Atlantic Hurricane Season. Even though the initial 5 day projected storm track does not look good for those of us who live in The Florida Keys, Miami-Dade and Broward counties, I am not going to start top of up the generator gas tank until I see the storms disposition when it is two days from landfall. I have my hurricane supplies and plans in place to insure the well being of my family and I can work from anywhere I can get an internet connection - so I'm good to go. Until TS Ana makes landfall or it gets downgraded, I'll be keeping up with on the National Hurricane Center RSS feeds. ![]()
