I have a particular geeky friend. What makes him a bit geekier than most is that he is in his early thirties and has on hell of a lego collection. He gets so excited over his collection that I would have to call his dedication to the endless assortment of cellulose acetate blocks a way of life. It was no surprise when I saw his latest email to me with the word 'Lego' in the title. The body of the email only contained the link to this video of the famous 'Trinity Help' bullet time scene from the first Matrix film. The folks at LegoMatrix produced the video for the ten year anniversary of The Matrix. I have to confess that I am really impressed who well this roof top shoot out complete with the trails left through the air as they whiz perilously close to the Lego Neo. Amazing what somebody can do with 440 hours, a bunch of plastic bricks and handful of open source tools. |
